Challenger

With a stale brand on a dated platform, Challenger were in the market for a revamp that would bring them back to the top of the game.

As the design lead on the project team at DIJGTAL, my role was to define how the new brand applied visual across the digital space and lead our teams in rolling it out across the new platform.

Refreshing a website with an elderly user base can be tricky; the new experience needs to feel welcoming and familiar, yet a lot of work was required to bring the website into the modern day.

My first course of action was to take the new brand foundations supplied by our creative teams, and determine how best to translate it to digital experiences. Through multiple rounds of experimentation and visual concepting, we landed on a welcoming, modern, scalable approach that could adapt and resonate across audiences, staying true to the target audience while revamping for modernity.

Once the visual direction was established, we rolled this out across a huge suite of pages, templates and tools, creating a cohesive ecosystem. Challenger is an ever-evolving platform, so to aid in this continual growth we wrapped everything up in a design system that allowed for fast scaling. The end result is fresh, relevant enterprise design for the everyday, designed to adapt for future growth.
